Product description:

SPDP first reacts with a protein molecule via its amino group. SPDP introduces pyridine disulfide into the protein, and then the pyridine disulfide is reduced by DTT to form mercaptan group. These mercaptan groups then form a disulfide bond with another protein molecule to produce heterodimer proteins.

SPDP結構式：

DBCO (dibenzocyclooctene) is a cycloalkyne, which can react with azide through 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition promoted by strain in aqueous solution, which is a biorthogonal reaction, also known as copper free click reaction. The selectivity and biocompatibility of this reaction enable complementary reagents to form covalent bonds with functional biological systems. Copper free click reaction is a powerful tool for biocoupling without catalyst. DBCO reagent has fast kinetics and stability in water buffer, and can be used to label azide modified biomolecules with high specificity and reactivity.
